| I want to colour my eyebrows and eyelashes?
|
| Do not use LiveColour on facial hair, eyelashes or eyebrows,
as you may cause some injury to the eyes. If you do get some
product in your eyes (when colouring your hair) wash it out
immediately. |
| What if I get product all over my clothing?
|
| Avoid wearing your best designer labels when colouring your
hair and always cover your clothing well. If the product does
get over your clothes, rinse immediately with cold water. |
| I want the colour to last longer than 6-8 washes?
|
| Since LiveColour is a semi-permanent hair colour it means
that it will wash out and not grow out. LiveColour washes out
after around 6-8 washes. If you are looking for something more
permanent try Schwarzkopf LIVE Permanent Colour. But don’t
forget using permanent hair colour means you will get re-growth
i.e. your roots will be a different colour to the rest of your
hair.
Schwarzkopf Country Colours lasts up to 24 washes and offers
a great range of gorgeous colours.
|
| How do I know how long to keep the dye in my hair
before washing it out? |
| For a light and subtle effect, or if you are using hair colour
for the first time and you are a little nervous, leave on for
around 5 minutes. For a more dramatic and obvious look LiveColour
can be left on for 45 minutes. |
| What if the colour lasts longer than 6-8 washes?
|
| Please be aware that on highlighted, bleached or streaked
hair using LiveColour may result in a more vibrant look and
may last longer than 8 washes. |
| I have really long and thick hair, how many packets
will I need to use? |
| For very long or thick hair 2-3 packs may be required. Whenever
more than 2 packets are used it is recommended to mix the contents
together in a bowl prior to putting it through your hair. |
| I am worried that using a hair colour is going to
ruin my hair? |
| LiveColour contains no peroxide or ammonia and is very gentle
on hair. It’s just all good stuff like Pro-Vitamin B5
and Macadamia Nut Oil so it won’t ruin or damage your
hair. LiveColour will actually condition your hair, leaving
it with a healthy shine. |
| How do I know what colour my hair will turn out?
|
| Before you colour your hair it is recommended that you do
a strand test. Take a 5cm snip of your hair, fasten it at one
end with sticky tape and apply some product to it. Leave the
colour on the strand from 5 to 45 minutes checking at 10-minute
intervals so you can determine your favourite colour. Rinse
strand and pat dry. You will then know how long you need to
leave it on to get the colour you want. |
| Why did my hair not turn out like the models on the
Schwarzkopf LiveColour packet? |
| The result of the hair colour will always depend on the base
colour and tone of your natural hair. The models on the packet
should only be used as a guide to the final colour you will
achieve. Once again, a strand test is recommended. |
| I hate it. I want the colour out NOW |
| Shampooing with an anti-dandruff shampoo will help to release
the colour molecules from the hair faster than your regular
shampoo. Lather and leave on the hair for around 10 minutes,
conditioning as normal afterwards. Repeat this over the next
couple of days. |
| Why will my hair not go lighter? |
| LiveColour is a six wash semi-permanent colour that adds
colour and shine to the hair. It will not lighten hair. To lighten
the hair it is necessary to use a blonding product such as Schwarzkopf
Nordic Colors which contains peroxide and ammonia. Nordic Colors
will give you a permanent colour result which means you will
get re-growth. |
| What if I get a rash after using the product?
|
| Before using LiveColour you should do a skin test to see
if you may encounter any allergic reaction to the product. Apply
a small amount of product to clean skin behind your ear or the
inside of your elbow and leave for about 48 hours. If you notice
any redness or irritation do not use this product or any other
colour. If you have had any previous skin diseases or have scratches
on your scalp, do not use any kind of hair colour. |
